With so much to do to prepare for Christmas how can you choose what is best for you or your family?

25 Days of Advent in Action
Here Molly Jo Rose (at U.S. Catholic News) gives us a list of Advent Actions! She says, "For the 22 days of Advent, beginning on December 3, our family will explore ways we can actively prepare for Jesus to enter our hearts through works of mercy and social justice." A Kid's Christmas Book Advent Countdown
Years ago I saw this idea on Pinterest (you can now find many Vlogs, blogs, and more about the idea) - A-Christmas-Book-A-Day Advent Countdown. You can do this a number of ways, but the most popular I saw was to wrap 24-25 kid's Christmas books and put them under the Christmas Tree, or in a Christmas Book Basket. Each day (up until Christmas Eve or Christmas Day) unwrap a book and read it together.
